Our experiences, based on large architectural projects, urbanistic analysis and planning, are focused on the study of urban density, spatial development and the need to face the environmental consequences of the life of the city. All these thoughts led us to the conclusion that to face the issues posed by the city it is necessary to think of it as a global living organism but to act in its local essence.
Our aim is to develop the concept of the city design and the role that architecture must have in it, including the meaning of form and density and its effects in the urban context.Furthermore, we are convinced that the contribution of other experts and local city governments will provide us a great opportunity to improve our thoughts and will give new ideas for the practice of urban design.
The approach to the projects starts from an accurate analysis of the context, considering its historic, economic, social and environmental characteristics and ending with an architectural derivation that isn’t a formal imposition to the city but is just the result of an intention of solving urban issues.
